Default Specialized Tandem

Pimp my tandem.

Maybe Kano can ride on the back of this in the next Open Supercrit, it'd save him bringing his own bike and it'd be pretty much the same experience for him.

The design looks as though it's built for the brains up the front and the brawn down the back. That front bottom bracket looks pretty flexy.

Pwoooaaar that looks fast - and it's in Vikings colours!

Would mind teaming up on that and riding off the front of the bakery gallop on Horsepark Drive.

What if your tactics was to grit a pin between your teeth and stick it in his behind every time you wanted to go faster. He wouldn't be safe from your tactics then would he?

Default Re: Specialized Tandem

Could it be lack of front seat tube?
Could it be lack of front chain ring?
Could it be no obvious chain connection from the front cranks to the rear cranks (unless the connection is via two 11 tooth cogs behind the bottom tube)?
Could it be that both seat supports seem to be riveted onto the top tube?
Could it be that it uses wheels running bonded spokes?
Could it be the phallic looking front handlebar extension does not seem to have elbow pads?
Could it be there is no front derailier on the rear chainset, but the inner chainring is visible?
Could it be that there are no visible brakes but there are brake levers?
Could it be that when this photo was taken SRAM wheels were NOT UCI approved?

Or is it just 'THE VIBE' ?

well, it could be...

...but after searching the internets it would appear that it is genuine (not photoshopped), although a 'concept'.

answers some of the questions, sort of.
