I'm back. My plan is to try to smash myself into shape for the triple tri. So it's Corin for me on Saturday.

The rides
Saturday ANU 8am, followed by hot beverage and/or brunch for those keen.
Long
Corin- dam or forest 100km+ (can turn early or do Pt Hut or Tharwa for 80-90km

Medium- Uriarra Cotter 65km (several groups with different goals)

Short- Cotter and back 45km or Mt Stromlo and back 35km

Monday- I plan to be on Black Mt Rd about 6am. Happy to wave to others as they pass me. Watch out for fauna- native or otherwise. No bears I hope. I saw 4 trying to cross the road in Canada.

Wednesday- Bunch rides of various speeds departing Dickson pool at 6am. This week, Dunlop loop 35-40km depending on your group.

Get ready for a great day of Crit racing in the leadup to the much anticipated Summer Crit Season! If the size of local bunches currently are anything to go by, Spring has sprung and this event is a great way to test your form early in the season and potentially grab a medal at the same time. Cost is $10 and support races will be run in conjunction with the event (note only riders in Championship categories will be eligible for medals) as well as presentations and a BBQ afterwards.

This is an event incorporating three distinct rides to cater for all ages and... The Goulburn Grand Prix Cycle Challenge is on Sunday 19 September. This is an event incorporating three distinct rides to cater for all ages and abilities:

Community Ride - a 4km course, mainly on shared pedestrian/cycle paths
Windellama 50 - a 50km course
The Grand Prix - an 85km loop, following the historic first Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix circuit of 1924

All rides are on bitumen roads/paths.

Proceeds will be shared between two local projects - Abbeyfield Pencomas Lodge housing project (for people with intellectual disabilities) and a community BMX track.

Entry

The Community Ride will be a gold coin donation on the day
The Windellama 50 entry fee is $45
The Grand Prix entry fee is $45
A $10 late fee will be added to each entrant fee for payments received AFTER Monday 13 September 2010
